Meet the Team

We’re a different kind of firm. You get an entire team and business consulting firm when you work with us. You will be assigned a bookkeeper for your monthly work and reports. You’ll work with our Tax Director on your quarterly tax plan. You’ll also have access to personalized business coaching to keep your goals, business plan, and mindset in the best shape possible and connected to your financial realities. Our entire team is designed to work together to bring you a holistic and supportive business experience.

You’ll also have access to our client community and educational resources that is always growing and evolving.


Stephanie Steinke

Stephanie is the owner and CEO of Steinke and Company. She’s been at this since 2012 and has owned the firm since 2014. Over the years, she’s been pulled into consulting on business operations, advising, tech, and AI. After working with many small business clients, she’s learned they need robust, holistic help beyond taxes. There’s more to running a business than just filing a tax return once a year. Stephanie was certified as a business coach in 2023 and always keeps up with changes in the tech, business, and tax world to keep her clients on the front edge of change. She’s also creating an educational membership for small business owners who aren’t quite ready to work with us and keeps a newsletter on the state of business and tax.

Ashley Boulet

Ashley is our Tax Director and is in charge of filing returns, tax planning, diagnostic reviews, and working hand-in-hand with our clients to understand and improve their tax situation. She is also in charge of constantly training our staff to reach higher quality and knowledge standards. She has years of experience as an Enrolled Agent and first-hand knowledge of owning and running a small business with her husband. Ashley will work with each client to create their custom tax plan.

When she’s not working with us, she helps her husband run his contracting business, raises her kids, and is a dog mom to three gorgeous golden retrievers.

Meghan Wyman

Meghan moved here recently to begin her journey as a farm girl, and we couldn’t be happier. She grew up in Garrison, ND, but moved to Bismarck to start her accounting career. After a few years, she realized she missed the small town setting and moved here to be closer to her family & her boyfriend’s family. She’s admitted that she loves to clean up a messy set of books. She’s a whiz with spreadsheets and data cleanup. She has her AA in Accounting and a few tax seasons under her belt already. When she’s not at the office, she’s probably helping her boyfriend with his contracting business or helping his family on the farm. Meghan handles our in-house clients who require A/P and A/R and local in-person services.

Leisha Phillips

Leisha has worked in bookkeeping and accounting her entire career. She grew up in Northern California and started her career as an assistant bookkeeper at a livestock auction yard while in high school. She loved it so much that she became a CPA and passed the CPA exam in 1984. She’s worked for herself, for governments, and for numerous private entities throughout her career. She’s now enjoying semi-retirement while working with us. Leisha handles the bookkeeping and accounting for our complex agricultural clients and all of our sales tax reporting.

Rosa Santiago

With a decade of accounting expertise and a Philippine CPA Board certification, Rosa is a dedicated accounting enthusiast passionate about problem-solving, efficiency, and process improvement. She thrives on digging into details and embracing continuous learning to enhance her expertise. She aims to provide significant value to the clients, ensuring our services are worth their investment.  She loves dogs and dreams of having an animal shelter, and she also hopes to have a horse one day. During her free time, she loves going on road trips with her husband and dogs, fishing, and watching crime and suspense movies.

Ann Arcillas

Ann is our Payroll Specialist and a Staff Accountant for our construction and business clients. Ann began her career at an accounting firm in 2021, where she had the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, maintaining accurate accounting information, reconciliations, payroll, and tax preparation for business entities. She then worked at a bookkeeping firm, where her enthusiasm and knowledge of the field grew stronger. She recently joined Steinke and Company, aiming to uphold the firm's professionalism and dedication to its clients. When she's not working, she's probably spending time with her son or working on her artwork.

Amanda Michalenko

Amanda is the Swiss army knife and connector of the office. Have a question on payroll, a quick question on your bookkeeping, wonder how Quickbooks works, or how and when to file your annual report? Wait, what’s an annual report? That’s all Amanda. She’s been with us for over five years and has done it all. She’s our main lead in tax season, and it’s likely she’ll do your pick-up and drop-off interviews. She also connects our local clients with our remote experts. When she’s not at work she’s with her kids, enjoying the outdoors, or relaxing at home.

We have numerous professional services that use our office and conference room to meet with their clients locally. If you are looking to book an appointment, you must call and schedule with them directly.
